NEW DELHI: A delegation from India will visit the AFC House in Kuala Lumpur on July 10 to revive Project Delhi in Asian Football Confederation’s Vision India programme. The AFC announced on its website that the seven-member delegation comprised Union Minister of State for Urban Development, Ajay Makan, Delhi Education Minister, Arvind Singh Lovely, Delhi Transport Minister, Haroon Yusuf, Delhi Soccer Association president Subhash Chopra, DSA General Secretary N. K. Bhatia, DSA Treasurer Syed Shaheen and Additional Commissioner, Municipal Corporation of Delhi, Naresh Kumar. The objective of the workshop is to restart the project in Delhi and to agree and finalize the roadmap for implementation of the development plan. The issues to be discussed in the workshop include DSA and its administration, grassroots and youth programme, schools league, coaching and development of referees. The two parties are expected to reach an agreement on the timeline for implementation of the revised strategic development plan during the workshop.
