The results (finals): Boys: Virudhunagar Hindu Nadar HSS bt TVS HSS 25-23, 25-22. Girls: EVRN Corporation Girls HSS bt Mangayarkarasi HSS 25-20, 25-10. Suriya Prakash shinesSuriya Prakash’s unbeaten half-century and his 70-run partnership with Kumar (25) for the eighth wicket helped Eleven Bullets Cricket Club carve out a two-wicket victory over Supersonic Cricket Club in the Canara Bank-Madurai DCA first division ‘B’ zone league at Madurai on Sunday. The scores (First division ‘B’ zone): Supersonic CC 180 in 36.5 overs (Sathish 40) lost to Eleven Bullets CC 181 for eight in 37.4 overs (Suriya Prakash 53 not out, Sathish four for 38). ‘A’ zone: Spark CC 125 in 37.2 overs (Athef Mohamed 42) lost to Freak Amigos CC 126 for six in 27.4 overs.
