Rahul to lead
MANGALORE: K.L. Rahul will lead the Mangalore zonal team in the Karnataka State Cricket Association under-22 mofussil inter-zonal cricket tournament to be held in Bangalore from July 9.
Teams from Mysore, Shimoga, Dharwad, Mangalore, Raichur and Tumkur will vie for honours in the tournament.
The team (for first two fixtures): K.L. Rahul (captain, wicketkeeper), Ashwin S. Rao, Nishith N. Raj, Sachin V. Shenoy, Ankith Karkera, Sachin Kumar, Janardhan, Ajay Shetty, Sinan Abdul Khader, Sachin V. Bhat, Zahoor Farooqui, Umesh Kharvi, Mohammad Arif, Somaiah A. M. and Vinod H. H.
Reserves: Gurudeep Madhyastha, Rishikesh Amin, Daniel Sequeira, Sawan Puthran and Roshan Hegde.
