Good outing for Prakhyath Naik

MANGALORE: Prakhyath Naik, who won the boys under-19 singles title in the John Patrao Memorial Dakshina Kannada District-level badminton tournament here on Sunday, went on to add three more titles to his kitty.

The results (finals): Under-19 doubles: Prakhyath Naik & Abhay Patil bt Akhil & Tehsir 21-15, 19-21, 21-14; Men’s singles: Prakhyath bt Irfan 23-21, 21-17; Men’s doubles: Prakhyath & Irfan bt Rahess & Raghav Bhat 21-17, 21-12; Veterans’ doubles: Sudesh & Prem Sagar bt Suresh & Shyam Sundar 22-20, 21-15. — Staff Correspondent
