Month-long homam to be performed

TIRUVARUR: The annual month-long Maha Ganapathy Homam will be performed for the general prosperity of the people from July 17 to August 16 in the Tamil month of ‘Aadi’ at Sri Muthannaval Samadhi premises at Sengalipuram in Tiruvarur district by vedic scholars led by A. Advarapathy Dikshithar, Agnihotri and Mantramoorthy of Sengalipuram, hailing from the family of late Anantharama Dikshithar, exponent in religious discourses and vedic scholar.

Sri Advarapathy Dikshithar said that besides the Maha Ganapathy Homam several other pujas and homams including Dharana Saraswathi Mahamanthra Japa Homam, Medha Sooktha Japam, etc. would be performed.
