‘Implement scheme’

Raichur: Kashirao Patel, vice-president of the All India Freedom Fighters’ Association, has demanded that the State Government initiate action for speedy implementation of the Nadawadgi lift irrigation scheme that comes under the Krishna basin and will benefit drought-prone areas in Raichur and Bagalkot districts.

He said the Government had not made any serious effort to launch work on the scheme. — Staff Correspondent
