Man found hanging at residence
NEW DELHI: A man allegedly hanged himself in his house at Mandawali here on Monday. No suicide note was found from the spot.
The incident took place around 6 p.m. when Prashant, who worked as a peon, was found hanging from the ceiling by his two children. The children raised an alarm, hearing which the neighbours rushed to the house and informed the police.
Enquiries by the police revealed that Prashant had not been going to work for the past eight days. His wife was working on his behalf and was not home at the time of the incident. Inquest proceedings have been initiated by the police.
