Bank opens new branch

COIMBATORE: G. Thiruvasagam, Vice-Chancellor of Bharathiar University inaugurated a new branch of the Indian Overseas Bank at Saravanampatti.

He said Coimbatore is all set to emerge as an entrepreneurial and educational hub. Nearly 38 per cent of the enrolment in educational institutions is from outside the district. He urged the banks to be proactive in supporting the educational sector and the industry.
