Man kills wife

VILLUPURAM: M. Mayavan (65) allegedly murdered his wife Indirani (60) at Manalurpettai near here in the early hours of Tuesday.

The police said village administrative officer Ilangovan had lodged a complaint that Mayavan slashed the neck of his wife with a knife in a wordy duel, killing her on the spot. The police are on the lookout of Mayavan.
