Science seminar contest for students

TIRUNELVELI: A district-level science seminar contest on ‘Water crisis on earth – problems and remedies’ will be held at District Science Centre on July 30.

One student (up to 10th standard) from each school can participate in this seminar to be organised in association with the Office of Chief Educational Officer, Tirunelveli.

District-level winners will represent the district in the State-level seminar to be held in Chennai in August.

Winner of the State-level contest will represent Tamil Nadu in the national-level science seminar to be held at Birla Industrial and Technological Museum, Kolkatta, on October 3, 2008.

Interested schools can obtain the guidelines from the District Science Centre (Phone – 0462 – 2500256 and email: dsctncsm@sancharnet.in).

The last date for registration is July 25, Mr. Gopalakrishna said.
