ANANTAPUR: The Joint Action Committee of Employees, Teachers and Workers (JAC) has alleged that the State government has failed to act with sincerity on their problems and has been trying to deceive them with mere appointment of the Pay Revision Commission (PRC). They have also expressed concern over the government neglect of the Ranganchari Commission report on the anomalies and irregularities in the previous PRC to rectify them. The JAC had chalked out and been following an agitational programme in support of their 37 demands represented to the government already. Accordingly, they would stage a protest in front of the Collectorate on July 10. They demanded pay hike in proportion to the increase in the price index since the last pay revision.
