Byreddy Rajasekhar Reddy dares Bhuma

‘Bhuma Nagireddy making a fuss about his exit’

KURNOOL: TDP district president Byreddy Rajasekhar Reddy challenged former MP Bhuma Nagireddy, who quit TDP a few days ago, to make public whatever he knew about the goings-on at New Delhi during BJP rule. Talking to reporters here on Tuesday, Mr. Reddy said instead of leaving the party gracefully as he wished, Mr. Bhuma Nagireddy was making a fuss about his exit.

Pressure tactics

He said the TDP would never buckle down under pressure tactics by such leaders who had no public sympathy and accused him of uttering not a single word in the Parliament during his three terms. Not even in the Assembly, Mr. Nagireddy had ever taken part in the debate on public issues. Such leader had no moral right to saying that he would disclose the behind the curtain activities now.

If Mr Nagireddy was so concerned about public, he could have highlighted the problem of KC canal farmers or the land owners at Bujunur and Bilakala Gudur whose lands were being snatched by the management of Jindal factory.

Referring to the accusations of Mr. Nagireddy that Mr. Chandrababu Naidu did injustice to Telengana, Mr. Byreddy wanted to know whether Mr. Nagi Reddy was working for Telengana and wanted to contest from there in the next election. He said Mr. Nagireddy was speaking like TRS leader Chandrasekhar Rao and Devendar Goud on Telengana.

He alleged that the gang from Allagadda was responsible for throwing chappals on NTR at Viceroy Hotel during the TDP crisis in 1995.
