BANGALORE: Two employees of a private company near ITPL were killed after the scooter on which they were riding was hit by a Karnataka Road Transport Corporation bus near Lido Mall on Monday.

Assistant Commissioner of Police (Traffic East) M.B. Mallikarjun Swamy said Basavaraju (30) and Krishnamurthy (31) were going towards Old Madras Road around 1.30 a.m. Basavaraj was riding the scooter on the extreme left of the narrow stretch of Vivekananda Road.

The KSRTC bus coming from Chintamani hit the scooter and dragged it for about 100 meters. The Ulsoor traffic police arrested the bus driver and seized the vehicle.
