Oman may grant amnesty for Indians

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Over 9,000 Indians working in Oman for many years without proper documents to stay in that country would soon be granted amnesty by the government of that country, Chief Minister V.S. Achuthanandan informed the Assembly on Tuesday. Replying to a submission from K.V. Abdul Khader, he said that most of these Indians were from Kerala. — Special Correspondent
