St. Joseph’s in final

Sattur: St. Joseph’s College, Tiruchi, entered the final of the KCD Chidambara Nadar memorial Trophy state-level football tournament with a comfortable 3-0 win over host Sattur Town Football Club at Sattur on Tuesday.

Ashok scored the first goal in the second minute and the second in the 25th minute. Thirulogu completed the tally in the 50th.

Earlier on Monday, Town Football Club, Sattur, beat Acme Football Club, Madurai, 1-0 with a 25th minute strike by Mani while St. Joseph’s College beat Kanyakumari District Football Association 2-0. Ashok (21st) and Saravanan (36th) scored.
