Verification of voters from July 19

NAGAPATTINAM: Cent per cent verification of voters will be carried out in Nagapattinam district from July 19, said Collector M. Jayaraman, here on Tuesday.

Addressing a training programme for poll officials of the Nagapattinam revenue division, he said that inclusion of new voters including those who had attained the age of 18 as on January 1 this year, deletion of voters, change of address, etc will be done during the period. The voters should submit the respective forms to the officials concerned.

The Collector said voters’ list with photographs was published on June 10 based on delimitation of Assembly segments in the district.
