Revanna condemns ‘blackmail politics’
Bangalore: The former Minister H.D. Revanna, MLA, has strongly criticised the Bharatiya Janata Party’s tactics of poaching MLAs of the Congress and the Janata Dal (Secular) and termed it “murder of democracy”.
A “mining lobby” in the Yeddyurappa Government was indulging in “blackmail politics” and making every attempt to attract MLAs from other parties, he told presspersons here on Tuesday. The BJP Government would collapse on its own in the next six months. He demanded a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) inquiry into “the amassing of wealth by a few BJP leaders”.
The former Minister D. Manjunath was present.
