Slum Clearance Board Chairman appointed

Bangalore: J. Narasimha-swamy, who recently resigned from the Legislative Assembly and joined the Bharatiya Janata Party, has been made Chairman of the Karnataka Slum Clearance Board.

Mr. Narasimhaswamy is the son of the Congress MP R.L. Jalappa and defeated the former Minister C. Chennigappa of the Janata Dal (Secular) in the Assembly elections.
