Film stars’ fans conduct ‘Sudarshana Yagam’

HYDERABAD: Members of the All-India Mahesh Krishna Sena, film fans club, on Tuesday conducted a ‘Sudarshana Yagam’ at Sri Lakshmi Ganapathi temple in Chikkadpally here seeking the lord’s blessings for a ‘better society’. While Dharmavarapu Subramanyam, Chairman, Andhra Pradesh State Cultural Council participated as the chief guest, others present included the Sena’s president Diddi Rambabu and secretary P. Mallesh.
Mr. Subramanyam said the ‘Sudarshana Yagam’ was primarily to invoke Varuna, the presiding deity of rain.
The ‘Sena’ comprises fans of superstar Krishna and his son, the rising star Mahesh Babu.
The association aims at getting into political limelight through social service activities.
