Software engineer found hanging

An engineer allegedly committed suicide at Valasaravakkam here on Tuesday.

Police said P. Swapna (24), working as a software engineer in an IT company on Old Mahabalipuram Road, was staying at her grandparents place. On Tuesday, she remained locked in her room for long.

Other members of the family forced open the door and found her hanging from the ceiling.
