The Madurai Kamaraj-Manonmaniam Sundaranar-Mother Teresa and Alagappa University Teachers’ Association has thanked Vice-Chancellor R. Karpaga Kumaravel for introducing supplementary examinations for those who had failed in the sixth semester. In a press release here, S. Vivekanandan, general secretary, said the decision to reduce the examination fee for supplementary examinations from Rs.1,000 to Rs.325 was also a welcome move.

“Our association also extends thanks for the decision to refund the excess amount already paid by students,” he said.
