MADURAI: Madurai Kamaraj University has invited application from candidates for the vacant seats in the following courses for 2008-2009:

M.A.: Linguistics, Malayalam Language and Literature, Comparative Dravidian Literature, Kannada, Sanskrit, English, French, Economics, Political Science, Sociology, Philosophy and Religion and Folklore.; M.Sc.: Environmental Sciences, Communication and Journalism, e-Media Communication. M. L. I. Sc. and M. Com.

M. Phil: Telugu, Sanskrit, Vedangas, Political Science, Sociology, Saiva Siddhanta, Peace Making and Gandhian Thought, Christianity, Comparative Religion (Tamil Medium), Folk Arts and History of World Civilisations, Folklore, Materials Science, Energy and Environment, Journalism and Mass Communication and Communication Studies.

Advanced P.G. Diploma in Geographical Information System (GIS) and Remote Sensing Applications.

Candidates may contact the respective heads of departments in person on or before July 25, 2008 with all required certificates in original with photocopies.
