Ghouse shines with the ball

HYDERABAD: Md. Ghouse Baba’s fine spell of five for 33 in 16 overs helped Andhra Bank restrict Ensconse CC to 129 in its first innings on the first day of the A division three-day matches league cricket championship on Tuesday.

Bhavans College in final

Bhavans College defeated Mufakkam Jah Junior College 2-1 in the semifinal of the Sachdev Sports inter-collegiate football tournament here on Tuesday. Zama scored both goals for the winner while Abdul reduced the margin.

In a quarterfinal match, Little Flower JC Uppal beat Army School 2-1. Aloysius Jesuraj and Ankit scored for LFJC and Mandal for Army School. — Special Correspondent
