Teenager fatally hit by DTC bus
NEW DELHI: A teenaged boy was killed and his younger brother injured when a DTC bus hit them in Nand Nagri here on Tuesday.
According to the police, Sanwar (15) and Shah Alam (12) were going on a rickshaw around 4-30 a.m. when the bus, plying between Anand Vihar and Avantika, hit them from behind.
Sanwar fell on the road and sustained serious head injuries. He was declared brought dead at Guru Tegh Bahadur Hospital.
Shah Alam was admitted to hospital.
Bus driver Arun Jain, who was working on a contract basis, has been arrested.
