Truck drags man to death
NEW DELHI: A young man was killed and his wife and brother-in-law were injured when a truck hit their motorcycle in
Sarai Rohilla here on Tuesday.
According to the police, Saroj was on his way to attend a wedding ceremony along with his wife Neelam and brother-in-law Om Prakash when a truck hit their motorcycle from behind around 6 a.m. Though Neelam and Om Prakash were thrown off the motorcycle, the truck dragged Saroj for about 200 metres. Saroj died on the spot.
Both the truck and the motorcycle caught fire after the accident.
Truck driver Pramod Kumar has been
arrested.
