Israeli national held

NEW DELHI: An Israeli national who had been absconding since 2006 in a drug smuggling case has been arrested by the Delhi zonal unit of the Narcotics Control Bureau.

Cohen Rozen had fled the country after the NCB seized over 14 kg of hashish being smuggled out to Israel hidden in parcels supposed to contain artefacts. One of the parcels was intercepted by the agency in Udaipur. Acting on a tip-off that he was trying to re-enter the country using another passport, the NCB sleuths laid a trap near Indira Gandhi International Airport and arrested him.
