Staff Reporter

TIRUCHI: Airtel will conduct a painting competition for the school children, which will provide an opportunity for the children to express what they admire the most about their nation.

The topic for the competition will be ‘Super India.’

The students can paint India as they visualise it.

The contest is open to children from standard III to standard VIII. Over 1,500 students are expected to take part in the contest. The event will be held on July 20, 2008 at the St. Joseph’s College Higher Secondary School.

The contest, scheduled in three batches, will be held between 9.00 a.m. and 2.00 p.m.

Students can get entry forms from their respective schools and fill in to register for the contest.

Results of the contest will be announced in August. The contest is also being conducted at Chennai, Coimbatore and Madurai.
