KADAPA: The anganwadi workers staged dharna before the Collectorate on Wednesday demanding a G.O. enhancing their salaries. The government promised to hike salaries of anganwadi workers six months ago, but was yet to issue orders to that effect, Anganwadi Workers and Helpers Union district secretary Subbamma said. Salary hike for ayahs by Rs. 250 has yet to come, she said.
