Ensure transparency, APSCHE tells private colleges

HYDERABAD: The Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education (APSCHE) has instructed managements of private unaided professional colleges to ensure transparency, merit and non-exploitation while offering admissions into different courses under category ‘B’ seats for the academic year 2008-09.
The APSCHE Secretary, in a press release here on Wednesday, informed the managements that failure in implementing instructions would result in cancellation of Government permission, University affiliation and AICTE approval.
As per instructions of APSCHE, managements of colleges offering B.E, B. Tech, B. Pharma, MBA, MCA, B.Ed courses shall notify the details of courses with intakes, schedule of admissions, cost of application form and minority and non-minority status in popular newspapers.
