THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A warm send-off was accorded to Kerala Governor R.L. Bhatia who left the State on Wednesday to takeover as Governor of Bihar. When Mr. Bhatia reached the airport around 12.15 p.m., Chief Minister V.S. Achuthanandan, Speaker K. Radhakrishnan, Leader of the Opposition Oommen Chandy, Education Minister M.A. Baby, Home Minister Kodiyeri Balakrishnan, Civil Supplies Minister C. Divakaran, Public Works Minister Mons Joseph, Mayor C. Jayan Babu, Air Marshal Y.R. Rane, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Southern Air Command, Chief Secretary P.J. Thomas, and other senior bureaucrats were present to bid farewell.
