Big win for Rotary HS

Mysore: A fine spell of off-spin bowling by S. Manju (four for 4) helped Rotary HS (N’gud) register a big 189-run win over Maharishi Public School in a Group C league encounter in the ACUK Mysore Forum’s school cricket tournament at the Maharaja’s College grounds here on Wednesday.

The scores: Group C: Rotary HS (N’gud) 216 for nine in 30 overs (Anil 69, Manju Prasad four for 29) bt Maharishi Public School 27 in 12.1 overs (S. Manju four for 4); Group B: Demonstration HS 189 for eight in 30 overs ( Syed 50, Suhas 40) bt St. Mary’s HS 77 in 17.4 overs; Group D: Sarvajanika HS 67 in 15.4 overs lost to CFTRI HS 68 for two in 14.2 overs; Sadvidya HS 84 in 30 overs lost to Mahabodhi HS 86 for five in 12.3 overs (Sushil 42 n.o).

Group A: St. Joseph’s State HS 273 for six in 30 overs (Parakshith 105, Shreyas 81 n.o.) vs Vasavi Vidyaniketana HS (match abandoned due to rain, teams secure one point each).
