Badminton
KOCHI: The Ernakulam District badminton championships will be held at the Rajiv Gandhi indoor stadium, Kadavanthra, on July 18 and 19. Competitions for men, women and for boys and girls in the under-10, 13, 16 and 19 age groups will be conducted. Events for masters (men and women above 35) and for veteran men (above 45) will also be held. The Ernakulam team for the various State championships will be picked from this event. Entries, routed through affiliated clubs, are to reach the district association secretary P.K.Gopan (mob. 94471-20516) before 7 p.m. on July 16.
