HUBLI: After having involved students of nursing institutions for creating awareness on chikungunya and dengue, the Hubli-Dharwad Municipal Corporation (HDMC) has, for the first time, involved members of self-help groups (SHGs) and “Nagar Sthree Shakti” members for creating awareness on the epidemics. Members of these SHGs will go door to door for creating awareness on these diseases. They would carry pamphlets in Kannada that will explain the symptoms and the measures to be taken to control the disease said Special Officer of Hubli Dharwad Municipal Corporation S.H. Naregal.
