Vendor in police net

NEW DELHI: A 25-year-old vendor has been arrested for alleged involvement in several cases of auto theft.

The police were conducting a routine vehicle check in New Friends Colony on Monday when they noticed a young man on a motorcycle trying to flee on sensing police presence. He was caught and later identified as Tarun.

During interrogation, he purportedly confessed to his involvement in nine cases of auto theft. Three cars and three motorcycles have allegedly been recovered from him.
