Campaign against plastic bags

Pupils of several city schools are taking up an important cause-to request all leading stores and shops to stop using plastic bags. The campaign has been thought of by a personality development and public speaking trainer Sonia Jain. Students are gathering at the Public School in MVP Colony at 10 a.m. on July 12 to request shops and stores through the media to stop using plastic bags and go for alternatives like cotton bags. Suresh Kumar Botcha of Hema Constructions and Principal of Public School, MVP Colony Shobana Nandagopal are supporting the effort.
