KORAPUT: “Collective discussions of the writers and poets in Koraput district is commendable ,” Chandrasekahar Rath, eminent writer from Bhubaneswar said at Koraput. Welcoming the increasing numbers of Oriya magazines being published in the State, he expressed concern over the lack of developing practices in the State facilitating proper criticism so as to appreciate the change in the literary world. NostalgicRecollecting the memories of his discussions on the Puri beach along with Jeevanananda Pani and Sarat Mahanty, the two immortal names in the world of Oriya literary creations, he said that the best pieces of writings in their respective lives had came out of those collective sessions. However, the best was not possible without a proper feedback from the conscious readers, he said. Eminent writers like Narayan Panda, Chittaranjan Mishra, Pritidhara Samal and Rabi Satpathy were present.
