A world of colours and images

Anjali Srivastava
KOCHI: She prefers to identify herself as a teacher by profession, singer by choice and a painter by chance. But, for the past six years, Anjali Srivastava, wife of Raman Srivastava, Director General of Police, has been fully involved in the world of colours and images.
An exhibition of her paintings, titled Art and Soul, will open at Durbar Hall Art Gallery here on Friday. Minister for Home and Vigilance Kodiyeri Balakrishnan will inaugurate the show.
Done in Thanjavur style of painting, Ms. Srivastava’s works are mostly on deities. The show will be open till Sunday.
She is also deeply interested in music (she has a Visharad degree), gardening, farming and travelling.
