“Advocate small family norms”

Chandigarh: Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda has urged the people to adopt small family norms and help in stabilising the escalating population.

In a message issued here on Thursday, the eve of World Population Day, Mr. Hooda said that a Population Commission has been set up under his chairmanship. The National Family Welfare Programme is being implemented to check growth of population in the State by focusing on points mentioned in the National Population Policy of

2000.
