Slow pace of scheme irks Minister

Chittoor: Minister for Law, Courts and Technical Education R. Chenga Reddy has expressed displeasure over officials not achieving targets in the construction of houses in the first and second phases of Indiramma housing scheme.
Speaking at a review meeting with officers on Thursday, he told them that it was their prime responsibility to implement government schemes.
He expressed displeasure over meeting only 50 per cent of the targets in first and second phases of Indiramma scheme in the district and gave two months time to officials to complete themin 2 months or else action would be taken against erring officials.
