1,100 houses for tsunami victims soon

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Steps for constructing 1,100 houses as part of the Tsunami Rehabilitation Project have been taken with the target of completing their construction by February 2009, Revenue Minister K.P. Rajendran has said. Addressing a workshop on the Tsunami Rehabilitation Project here on Thursday, the Revenue Minister said the Housing Department would monitor construction of the houses. — Special Correspondent
