Subedar killed in accident

Thiruvananthapuram: N. Chandrakumar, 50, a Subedar in the Army Medical Corps who was serving as office superintendent in the defence wing of the Indian embassy at Tadjikistan died in Sharjah on July 9. According to a defence spokesman here the Subedar was involved in an accident in Tadjikistan and was undergoing treatment at Sharjah. The funeral will be held with military honours at Paravoor, Kollam, on July 11.
