Manipal: Vice-Chancellor of Manipal University Rajasekharan Warrier released the book, ‘Surgical Manual of Skull Base Surgery’ authored by the faculty of the Department of ENT, Kasturba Medical College and Hospital here on Wednesday (July 9), a press release on Thursday stated.
Skull base surgery is a specialised field, which was essentially a team-work of surgical departments such as Neurosurgery, ENT and Oral Maxillofacial Surgery. It required training and skills. The dedicated team of skull base surgeons at Kasturba Hospital had been dealing with tumours of skull base surgery for over 25 years, the release added.
