PMK plans agitation near TASMAC outlets

CHENNAI: Women members of the Pattali Makkal Katchi (PMK) will organise demonstration near retail outlets of the Tamil Nadu State Marketing Corporation on Saturday and Sunday as part of their campaign for prohibition.

In a statement, PMK president G.K. Mani said the outlets should be gradually closed down. Their working hours should be reduced. The outlets located close to places of worship and where people assembled should be closed down. — Special Correspondent
