Kashmir Singh ready to go anywhere for India’s cause

Rajkot: Kashmir Singh, who spent nearly 35 years in Pakistani jails on charges of being a spy, said he will go anywhere in the world, including Pakistan, for the cause of the nation.

Talking to journalists here, Mr. Singh, however, said the government should pay due compensation to him.

“I was sent to Pakistan for the cause of the nation but my family did not get any compensation from the government since my arrest in 1973,” he said. Mr. Singh was arrested while travelling in a bus running between Pesahwar and Rawalpindi.
