TIRUVARUR: The 23rd Tamil Nadu junior inter-district athletic championship got off to a colourful start at the District Stadium here on Friday.

The three-day meet organised by Tiruvarur District Athletics Association (TDAA) has attracted participation from over 2,500 athletes from various parts of the State. It is conducted in the under-20, 18, 16 and 14 age categories for boys and girls.

Commending the performances of L.
