Moliere comedy

BANGALORE: Aneka, a young and experimental theatre troupe, presents Moliere’s comedy, “Scoundrel Scapin”, in Kannada. The play has been adapted and translated into Kannada by Suresh Anagalli, director of National School of Drama, Regional Resource Centre, as “Arere… Kunhirama!!!”
Suresh Anagalli has directed memorable plays such as “Jujubi Devarugala Jugaariyaata”, “Nenapaadalu Shaakuntale”, “Pratibimbagalu”, “Chora Charanadaasa”, “Patinga Purana” and also the outstanding “Manteswamy Katha Prasanga”.
Suresh Anagalli, with Aneka, a semi-professional group, is trying to break frontiers in theatre. The play has three shows on July 12 and July 13 at Ranga Shankara. The show on July 12 is at 7.30 p.m. and on July 13 it is at 3.30 p.m. and 7.30 p.m.
