Man held with fake currency

NEW DELHI: A young man has been arrested by the Special Cell of the Delhi police for allegedly being in possession of fake Indian currency. Acting on a tip-off, the police laid a trap near Chhatrashal Stadium and arrested Mohammed Mustaqim. They claim to have recovered Rs.1.80 lakh in fake currency from him.

During interrogation, Mustaqim purportedly told the police that the fake currency was supplied by an ISI operative based in Bangladesh.

A sewing machine mechanic, Mustaqim allegedly took to crime to make easy money.
