NMC plea to political parties

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Nationalist Mahila Congress (NMC) has urged all political parties to cooperate for preventing the Lok Sabha from being dissolved for enacting the women’s reservation bill. The state committee of the NMC which met here today with the state president, Lissy Thomas in the chair pointed out that the reservation of one third of the seats for women in Parliament and in the Assemblies was a long standing demand. —Special Correspondent
