MADURAI: All the data available in the control unit of the electronic voting machines (EVMs) used in the 2006 elections at Melur Assembly constituency were deleted and the ballot papers kept in the respective units removed on Friday. Officials at the Collectorate said that the EVMs were kept under lock and key.
