Nainital (Uttarakhand): Five tourists from Delhi drowned in the Kosi river at Ramnagar town, some 85 km from here on Saturday, official sources said. The incident took place when a group of 25 tourists went to take a bath in the river and suddenly a gush of water came washing away five of them. The other tourists managed to swim to safety, the sources said. Four among the deceased were women. Four bodies recoveredWhile four bodies have so far been fished out, search is on to find out the fifth body. The tourists were staying in a resort in the nearby Kumariya village. PTI
